December 19, 2024: Host Christa Wessel welcomes Grant High School’s Royal Blues Chamber Choir and the Adent & Moore Piano Duo to All Classical Radio’s Irving Levin Performance Hall in downtown Portland.
The Royal Blues Chamber Choir will continue the station’s Roger O. Doyle Choral Series. Named for the beloved Portland professor of music, All Classical Radio’s Roger O. Doyle Choral Series is a new initiative designed to amplify the incredible choral ensembles in our region and highlight their artistic contributions. ABOUT
The Royal Blues are the Grant High School’s premier chamber ensemble. The ensemble, consisting of roughly 32 exceptionally talented high school singers, has been performing within the Portland community, state, country, and around the world for over 40 years. Their repertoire encompasses a wide variety of styles and eras from renaissance madrigals to jazz standards, contemporary choral selections to spiritual and folk ballads.
