On Deck with William Karceski

William Karceski is a 17-year old trombone player who was just appointed principal trombone of the Portland Youth Philharmonic. That leadership position has sparked his passion for classical music and he’s envisioning a career as an orchestral musician.
William proudly calls himself a “classical music nerd”, and is also an Eagle Scout. He spent the summer at Tanglewood, and will tell us about that transformative musical experience in this episode of On Deck.
