Mariana Ramirez Godinez is an 18-year old singer and violinist. Christa met her over the summer at YMA: Young Musicians and Artists, a summer camp at Willamette University. Mariana was a counselor there, and a member of the YMA Choir.
Mariana loves classical music, but her involvement with it is due largely to her participation in a mariachi band. In this episode of “On Deck” you can find out more about Mariana’s curious journey.
