Lulu Raheem is 17, and a cellist with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony. Unlike many of her colleagues in MYS, Lulu started cello relatively late: at age 11. In this episode of “On Deck” we’ll talk with Lulu about her sprint to ‘catch up,’ about perfectionism, and about why vulnerability is a good thing when it comes to music.
