On Deck with Julia Shih

Julia Shih is a junior at Jesuit High School, where she plays the flute and piccolo. She has been playing the flute since sixth grade. In the past, Julia played with Metropolitan Youth Symphony in the Flute Ensemble. As a sophomore, she qualified for the State Solo and Ensemble competition as part of a woodwind duet. Currently, Julia studies the flute with Adam Eccleston and enjoys playing in the Jesuit High School Symphonic Band.
