The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA will take the Esther Short Park Main Stage for three days of thrilling performances along with award-winning guest artists at this year’s Vancouver USA Arts & Music Festival. Joining the VSO include GRAMMY-Award-Winning cellist Zuill Bailey, Van Cliburn International Piano Competition 2001 Gold Medalist pianist Olga Kern, Soprano Cecilia Violetta Lopez, Tenor Ben Gulley, GRAMMY nominee and Emmy Award winner Maestro Gerard Schwarz, and VSO’s very own Music Director and Conductor Maestro Salvador Brotons.

SPECIAL INTERVIEW: During intermission of the final concert, “Tribute to Bernstein” on Sunday August 4 at 3pm, Suzanne Nance joins Maestro Gerard Schwarz for an exclusive interview, sharing a behind the scenes look at Schwarz’s approach to conducting Bernstein, informed by his personal relationship with the legendary composer and conductor.
