Chatter PDX is a new weekly concert series featuring one hour of classical chamber music and spoken word. Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy free coffee and baked goods. Chatter PDX performs a wide variety of chamber music, ranging from the greatest hits of the Classical, Romantic, and Baroque eras to contemporary masterpieces and brand new works from local composers. Performers talk to the audience about their personal experiences learning the works performed and their thoughts about what makes the music interesting and important to them.

Once known as “The Church of Beethoven”, Chatter PDX aims to create a low-key atmosphere in which to enjoy high-quality performances. We are welcoming to all and we hope to build a new community where audiences can join together with dedicated and risk-taking performers to share their love of music and poetry.
