John Pitman, Larry Holtz, and All Classical Portland listeners visited some of Germany’s most beautiful cities and walked in the footsteps of Handel, Wagner, Telemann, Mendelssohn, Mahler, Grieg, Schumann and Bach. They were also in Dresden during the city’s renowned music festival just in time to kick off the celebrations for Wagner’s 200th birthday.
