Through the Access Recording Project, All Classical Radio aims to break down financial barriers to high-quality recording, rehearsal, and performance spaces and resources for artists and organizations. The project will provide 10 hours of no-cost rental time in All Classical Radio’s new state-of-the-art recording studio and/or performance hall, including event management and audio production staff support. This opportunity is for artists, creatives, and arts organizations who may otherwise not have the financial, staffing, or technical resources to create, document, and share their work. All Classical Radio seeks to effect lasting positive change for artists, organizations, and community members at large through its Access Recording Project—expanding portfolios, building audiences, and elevating and launching careers.
Access Recording Project is made possible in part by a generous grant from the Oregon Cultural Trust.

FAQs about the Access Recording Project
Is there an application fee?
No entry fee is required. Through the Access Recording Project, All Classical Radio aims to break down financial barriers to high-quality recording, rehearsal, and performance spaces and resources for artists and organizations.
Who is selecting the projects?
The Access Recording Project panel, which will be comprised of regional artists and leaders as well as All Classical Radio staff members, will review all applications and select the final recipients.
Who can apply?
The Access Recording Project is designed to equitably make the Irving Levin Performance Hall and studios at All Classical Radio available for performance, recording, and more. All in the Pacific Northwest are welcome to apply, and projects will be evaluated based on need.
What type of project will be considered?
All applications are welcome; however, projects must be achievable within the 10-hour time limit offered by All Classical Radio. If it is not able to be completed within that time frame, please explain in your application how receiving this award could benefit a portion of your overall vision. Selected projects must be completed in 2025; scheduling will vary based on need and All Classical availability.
What are examples of projects?
Examples of projects we aim to support could include: small chamber recording projects, rehearsal of a community choir or other creative ensemble, launch of a new podcast, small recital or theatre production of up to 75 audience members, video recording of dance performances or audition tapes, workshopping a new play, and more. Up to 3 projects will be selected through this pilot program of the Access Recording Project.
What will I receive if selected?
Selected artists will receive up to 10 hours of time in All Classical Radio’s Irving Levin Performance Hall and studio at no cost, including event management and audio production staff support. Projects will also be amplified and promoted through All Classical Radio’s digital channels as part of the Access Recording Project.
