Raúl Gómez-Rojas chats with Irie Page, a 17-year-old singer and actor with an already impressive résumé. Irie sang with Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir for 10 years and is now a Marian Singer at St. Mary’s Academy, where she is a junior. Additionally, Irie is a prolific young theatre performer: she is a “Young Professional” with Oregon Children’s Theatre, a student at Bridgetown Conservatory, and a member of the Mainstage Company at Northwest Children’s Theatre.
Irie is passionate about the intersection between social justice and the performing arts, and she finds time in her very busy schedule to work as a legislative intern for State Representative Lisa Reynolds, where she enjoys learning about creating change through policy work and advocacy
