On Deck with Maddy Smith

Maddy Smith is an 18-year old mezzo-soprano, and a senior at Jesuit High School. She is one of the winners of a spot on this year’s MetroArts Young Artist Debut concert.
Maddy wants to pursue a career in music AND human rights; we’ll talk to her about the formative moments which brought her to that decision in this week’s episode of “On Deck with Young Musicians.”
