November 21, 2024: Host Christa Wessel welcomes Metropolitan Youth Symphony’s MYSfits and Cascadia Composers to the All Classical Radio studios.
MYS’s self-conducted string chamber ensemble will perform music by Mozart, A. R. Rahman, and more.
Cascadia Composers will preview their Fearless Lieder concert, which features songs by 11 composers on poems by four recent Oregon Poets Laureate, including Kim Stafford who will read.”

The Metropolitan Youth Symphony educates, develops and promotes young musicians.
MYS provides music education and performance opportunities for young musicians of all ages and levels of experience. Incorporated in 1975, they enroll 400+ youth from the Portland Metro and SW Washington areas in 15 ensembles including orchestra, winds, jazz, strings, and percussion.
