ABOUT
Hevreh is a Hebrew word meaning “Circle of Friends.” The Hevreh Ensemble is made up of classical musicians trained at the Juilliard and Manhattan Schools of Music, SUNY Stonybrook, Brooklyn College, and the Jerusalem Conservatory in Israel. The members are Judith Dansker, oboe; Laurie Friedman, clarinet; Adam Morrison, piano; and Jeff Adler, bass clarinet. For this performance, they will be joined by Renée Cometa Briggs, piano.
Since 2001, audiences around the world have embraced their sound and expanded the hevreh. They have performed at the stunningly beautiful Spanish and Jerusalem Synagogues in Prague, the magnificent Church of St. Stephen in Vienna, and concert halls in Germany and beyond.
