Community Classical
Oregon Symphony
The Oregon Symphony provides varied music of the highest artistic standards to an audience of more than 300,000 annually, with a strong commitment to engaging as broad a statewide audience as possible.
Portland Baroque Orchestra
The Portland Baroque Orchestra is dedicated to presenting spirited, authentic interpretations of 17th and 18th century music to a wide audience and, through outreach and dialogue, to educating the community about baroque music: its composers, themes, instruments, and performance practices.
Portland Youth Philharmonic
It is the purpose of the Portland Youth Philharmonic Association to maintain the finest possible youth orchestra in order to inspire and educate young people through performing symphonic music and to provide a cultural asset for the community.
Metropolitan Youth Symphony
The Metropolitan Youth Symphony is a non-profit youth musical group consisting of ten different performing groups totaling approximately 500 young musicians from six years through college.
Pacific Crest Wind Symphony
Since its inception, PCWS has been both an artistic challenge and a labor of love. The ensemble and each of its members have set a standard of musical excellence and continual artistic growth, providing its loyal and ever-expanding audience with exciting musical performances.
Portland Piano International
Portland Piano International (formerly the Piano Recital Series) brings pianists of exquisite skill and formidable power from all over the world to electrify and seduce piano enthusiasts of all ages.
Rose City Chamber Orchestra
The Rose City Chamber Orchestra first came into being in Spring of 1998. A small group of musicians, who felt that their needs were not being met in the greater Portland community, decided to venture out on their own and establish a small chamber orchestra together.
Salem Chamber Orchestra
The Salem Chamber Orchestra, through a partnership between Willamette University and the Salem-Keizer community, enriches the Willamette Valley by promoting classical music that entertains, educates, and provides performance opportunities for Willamette students and area musicians.
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in our city and region by presenting high-quality performances of classical and popular music to a wide variety of audiences, and offering educational and community programs, while operating in a financially sound manner.
Beaverton Chamber Symphony
The Beaverton Chamber Symphony is made up of amateur musicians who share a love of serious music and the desire to perform it.
Metro Arts Inc.

Columbia Symphony Orchestra
Led by Huw Edwards, CSO is dedicated to presenting the highest quality performances of standard, worthy but rarely performed, and new orchestral repertoire.
Hillsboro Symphony Orchestra
Founded in the spring of 2001 by Mike Graves, Morgan Brown, and Barbara Hanson, HSO provides an opportunity for local amateur musicians to play in an orchestral setting and to enrich the musical environment of our communities.
The Old Church
The Old Church is no longer a home to any one congregation, but is lovingly preserved as a historic venue for concerts, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, and other events.
Portland Chamber Orchestra
The Portland Chamber Orchestra is a 38-member ensemble led by world-renown New York conductor Yaacov Bergman, now in his fifth season as music director. The orchestra, founded in 1947 by Finnish composer and conductor Boris Sirpo, has deep-rooted commitment to performances of innovative repertoire, ranging from the baroque through the twenty-first century.
Oregon Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra
The Oregon Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering diverse musical education, to providing the community with inspired musical performances and to provide entertainment as an outreach to all ages to promote musical experience and appreciation
Oregon Sinfonietta
The Oregon Sinfonietta, now in its 36th season and conducted by Dr. Donald Lawrence Appert, is a community orchestra that draws together musicians from the greater Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington metropolitan area.
Oregon Symphonic Band
The Oregon Symphonic Band (OSB) is Oregon’s premier symphonic band. Formed in 1988, the award-winning band is comprised of 65 brass, wind and percussion players, all volunteering to play together for their love of music. These players are some of the Portland-area’s finest amateur and professional musicians. Each year the band plays three concert series, playing a range of music from marches to jazz, orchestral transcriptions and Broadway show tunes, to contemporary band literature.
Chamber Music
Chamber Music Northwest
Since its founding in 1971, Chamber Music Northwest has become one of the most successful summer music festivals in the nation, and now is presenting activities on a year-round basis.
Friends of Chamber Music
Friends of Chamber Music, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to presenting the highest quality chamber ensembles in concert, and providing educational outreach to further chamber music in our community.
Oregon Chamber Players
Founded in 1995 and formed by musicians, this group offers the Northwest a unique niche of the widest variety of styles, instrumentation, and musical time frames in an intimate concert setting that assists our audience in getting personally involved with the music.
The Music Population Project
The Music Population Project is an effort to bring chamber music back to the people, invoking times when performances were public spectacles, when operas were performed in front of enthusiastic audiences, when uprisings followed premieres and classical music was pop music.
Chamber Music America
The mission of Chamber Music America is to promote artistic excellence and economic stability within the profession and to ensure that chamber music, in its broadest sense, is a vital part of American life.
Chamber Music Society of Oregon
The Chamber Music Society of Oregon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to promoting music education for children, music in the schools, and music for adults as lifelong learners.
Classical Revolution PDX
Classical Revolution PDX is a network of musicians that come together to perform chamber music for the community. We have all different kinds of musicians playing with us: symphony and ballet/opera orchestra members, conservatory and music school students, established chamber groups, cello project members, and amateurs that just really, really love chamber music.
Florestan Trio
The Florestan Trio has received international acclaim for its brilliant and dynamic playing. Since joining the faculty of Portland State University in 1977 as Artists-in-Residence, the Trio has concertized throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan, where their playing was described as "...positively overflowing with life and energy."
Friends of Rain
Friends of Rain, made up of tenure-track and adjunct music faculty, draws its repertoire from the last 50 years. Their performances feature new works by established masters, Lewis & Clark faculty composers, and guest composers in residence.

Bach Cantata Choir

Cappella Romana
A vocal chamber ensemble dedicated to combining passion with scholarship in its exploration of the musical traditions of the Christian East and West, with emphasis on early and contemporary music.
In Mulieribus
In Mulieribus (the Latin phrase meaning “amongst women”) is a female vocal ensemble dedicated to the promotion and enrichment of community through the art of music with a focus on works written primarily before 1750.
Oregon Chorale
The Oregon Chorale is a fifty-voice symphonic choir under the direction of Bernd R. Kuehn. Based in Hillsboro, Oregon, the Oregon Chorale has been delighting audiences since 1985, performing choral music from around the world and maintaining an appreciation for technique while exhibiting flexibility of musical style. Our formal concerts showcase a variety of styles from Classical to Baroque, Renaissance to Contemporary. Our less formal presentations include world folk music, spirituals, dinner theater and staged shows.

Ernest Bloch Music Festival
The Central Oregon Coast is the setting for the annual music festival that celebrates the teaching, composition and performance legacy of the Swiss-American composer Ernest Bloch.

Oregon Bach Festival
Two weeks of choral and orchestral concerts centering on the music and influence of J.S. Bach.
